Stylized Miniature Cottage

This project is a stylized miniature cottage created as a personal study focused on lighting, materials, and storytelling within a small environment.

The design is inspired by handcrafted miniature houses and decorative diorama-style architecture. The goal was not to create a perfectly realistic building, but rather a charming, stylized object that captures the cozy atmosphere often found in miniature craft models.

I focused on building rich materials such as aged wood, stone walls, roof shingles, and vegetation to give the cottage personality and warmth. Elements like ivy, flowers, and small props were added to enhance the sense of a tiny lived-in world.

The lighting was developed to showcase two different moods: a neutral daylight render to highlight the materials and shapes, and a warmer evening setup to emphasize the cozy storytelling aspect of the scene.
